The last death date recorded in Vol. 4 of the Hardin Co. Death Records is June 12, 1908. Does anyone on the list know if the deaths between June 12 and Dec. 20, when the State index starts, were recorded? It appears that the practice, when the records were maintained by the county, was to record them in the book once a year, usually around May or June.
