    3. Tryng to find anything on Weber's, possibly from Dunkirk area. They had a daughter named Nourma, born about 1890, but I have no idea who her parent's were. She married Jacob Arthur Binkley in 1943, and they owned Binkley's Poultry Market in Ada, for many years. Jacob is my grandpa, and Nourma was his third wife. I know that she is buried in Dunkirk, and that is why I think her family was from there. Thanks! 1. Huntersville
    2. Debbie Moore
    3. >From the History of Hardin County, 1883 Waner, Beers & Co. Pg. 669 "Marion Twp is almost entirely an agricultural township. The only village within her border, up to the fall of 1882, was Huntersville, laid out June 21, 1836, by Thomas Hitchcock, in the northeast corner of Section 12, on the Kenton & Lima road, and adjoining Cessna Township. Some years back [remember this is written in 1883] it could boast of a post office, two stores, a saw mill and blacksmith shop, all of which were closed except Josiah Smith's shop. Dr. Evans located here a couple of years since, and is infusing new life into the old town. He started a small family grocery, and enjoys a fair and increasing practice in his profession. If they could succeed in regaining their post office, they might make it a place of some business yet." On a present-day map, this would be north and slightly east of McGuffey on State Route 309. Hope this helps. Debbie ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com

    1. News/Obituary lookup
    2. Could anyone lookup in county newspapers, especially those in and near Buck Township for a period around March 19, 1940? A distant cousin was butted by a bull against a barn and killed that day and I would think that there would have been something in the local paper about it. He died the same day, so also please look for an obituary around that time. THANKS SO MUCH E-mail me if you are interested. D. A. Blakemore
