Hi, I'm new to this list, so I will post my Hancock Co. ancestors and hope for the best. I'm looking for information about my g-grandparents, Harrison H. Harper and Elizabeth Johnson Harper. They were in Mt. Blanchard, Hancock Co., OH in the 1880 census, and by the 1900 census, Harrison was in Burlingame, Osage Co., KS, with another wife named Jennie. Harrison was b. in OH and his wife Elizabeth in VA. Jennie was b. IL. Harrison and Elizabeth had eight children, all b. in OH. They were Etta, William, Maxwell, Elihu, Harlow (or Harley), Charley, Clara, and Warren. It appears that when Harrison left OH, the older children stayed in OH, the younger ones went with him. Harrison was a Methodist preacher, and later a dry goods store worker. Any information anyone has on this family would be greatly appreciated. jane
