    3. Re: JOHNSON & ROBERTS Dear Friends, I have found my husband's ggggrandmother, Mary A._?_ ROBERTS 38 yrs old b. OH on the 1850 Crawford twp, Hancock Co., Ohio census with 5 children. The last name for the three oldest children on the census is Johnson (John 17, Susan 13 and Allen 11). That means she was married 1st abt 1832 to a Mr. JOHNSON. The last name for the two youngest children on the census is are Mary ROBERTS 5 yrs old and Fanny E. ROBERTS 3 yrs old. So Mary A. Johnson married 2nd about 1844 a Mr. ROBERTS. It's exciting to find Fanny E. ROBERTS, my husband's gggrrandmother who at abt age 15 married an older man, 29 yr old Mahlon James WARD in 1861 in Hancock Co., Ohio. The newlyweds moved to Ft.Wayne, Indiana where their their first child, Zophar John WARD was b 1862. I've been told to look in Hancock, Muskigum and Wyandot Counties for ROBERTS & JOHNSONs who might be related because the counties changed boundaries in the early days. It will take a miracle to find Mary A. "_?_"'s maiden name! It will also take a miracle to find the first names of Mary A. "_?_"'s two husbands:- #1.Mr. JOHNSON and #2 Mr. ROBERTS. I'm missing so much information! BIRTH DATES: I'm guessing that both Mr. JOHNSON and Mr. ROBERTS were born about 1812 (or before) because they were probably at least as old as Mary A. _?_ who was born abt 1812 in OH. MARRIAGE DATES: Mr. JOHNSON & Mary A._?_ married abt 1832 and then Mr. ROBERTS & Mary A._?_JOHNSON married abt 1844. Both marriages probably were in the Hancock Co, Ohio area. I've done considerable checking in the IGI & Ancestral LDS files and census records too. I'm searching for JOHNSON & ROBERTS families on all of the Ohio censuses for the counties of Muskigum, Hancock and Wyandot from 1830 to 1870 and I'm looking at the names of their neighbors too, just in case something pops out at me. Thanks for any help or support!
