I am looking for information on James Sheldon, born 1795. He married Mary (Gwelp ?). They had a son named Eli Jesse Sheldon b 7/30/1836 in Belmont Co. Ohio. All three of them (and probably more) ended up in Hancock County. I am related to William Sheldon, born 1790 in England. He married Sarah ? in 1837 in Delaware County, OH. I have a cousin (here in Hardin Co.) that was told when he was younger that William had two brothers, one was named James and settled in Hancock County and he could not remember the name or where the other brother went. I'm trying to find William's brothers ..... many be then I'll be able to fill in some "holes" in my tree. Any information on either one would be appreciated. Thanks!
