Margaret Calvin mentioned a book called Ohio Photographers. A copy is in the Findlay Hancock Library and, on my request, Cheryl Treece kindly took a look at it for us. She describes it as a list of all early photographers in Ohio along with biographies for some. Cheryl took the time to look for Findlay photographers and their dates and combined it with the library's early city directories to augment the list. I have included an attachment of what she sent me for those interested. I have been very fortunate to have a large collection of old pictures from the early Ohio days. I just came into possession of about 140 such photos - not one is labeled and my grandmother (1888 -1983) had banded them together noting that she didn't know the subjects either. I don't really want to part with them until I know who they are and that they are not relatives - any suggestions? I do have a very nice picture of Cora CORSEY and her husband William GATES who I don't think are relatives - perhaps 1910-20. I believe Cora lived with my grandmother's family in Findlay for awhile. Anyone related and want a copy of the picture?
