    3. My experience on the Fayette County PA rootsweb list has raised a couple of questions about the Hancock County list.. 1. The Fayette members are prolific about sending in transcripts of books, obituaries, etc., which they tell me are archived in searchable form. Does Hancock County archive this type of information when it is sent in by list members? I have a couple of items which might be interesting to Hancock County genealogists - one being my grandmother's (Metta Snyder Pendleton) "Birthday Book" from the early 1900's which lists friends as well as family members. As well as her collection of calling cards which is mainly family (Pendleton and Snyder) members. (2) For my own information: I know it's out there, but what is the Hancock County OGS Chapter web address? I reach a dead end when I try to get there through GenWeb, Rootsweb, and even through an old address I had when they were on Bright.net. All say it does not exist, but I know it does. Just can't remember what the sign in the library room says. Anybody have the answers? Thanks. Leah Pendleton Raney in San Marcos, Texas P.S. I had to be on the web to find "Books on Main" right across from the library. They had several of the early Hancock County histories that I was looking for. Expensive, in a way, but all books are these days and these histories aren't being made anymore.
