Though I have searched the cemetery records on-line for Beaverdam and have talked to Mark TWICe, I can't find the gravesites of James and Isabelle GRANT and their son, Orville who died in 1898. James died in 1914 and Isabelle in 1927. Are there any records available which would identify UNMARKED grave sites? From James and Isabelle's death certs I have learned that the undertaker was a JOHN D. REUSHLER with an undertaker's license of 891. I do not know if this man was in Hancock or Allen Co. All three obits indicate ( as do James and Isabelle's death certs) that they were buried in Beaverdam: James was buried on July 30th 1914 and Isabelle on January 6, 1927. Can anyone suggest what I might try next? Pewrhaps the Boy Scouts will walk those Beaverdam Cemeteries on Memorial Day to place flags... should I ask them to look? As far as I know, James DID NOT fight in the Civil War. thank you all in advance for any help in this matter. Margaret Shank ( Arvada, CO)
