My g-grandmother, Margaret Anne BUSHONG, b. July 30, 1848. Margaret married Alva L. PRESTON on December 20, 1866 in Hancock. She died in childbirth on July 24, 1872 at Williamstown, Madison Township, Hancock Co. The birth daughter survived Margaret by 7 days. I believe her father was Peter BUSHONG as follows: >From probate records, the estate of Peter Bushong was administrated, under bond, by John L. REES (May 22, 1857). Another probate document, related to guardianship (1859), details children Margaret A., Mary A., and Estora Bushong. This document also names John L REESE as bonded for $100. Additionally, Peter Bushong and Margaret A. Preston are buried side by side in the Madison Twp. cemetery. Unsourced data available from the IGI lists Margaret's parents as Peter BUSHONG and Hannah REESE. Any help in defining Margaret's parents would be appreciated. Thanks Richard
