    3. Scott, The BLM website is www.glorecords.blm.gov/. This is a wonderful site. If you had ancestors that acquired land directly from the Federal government, you can actually print a copy of the original patent directly from this site. They have images as well as textual legal descriptions that can be downloaded. I do not know where the Warner history is available for lookup. It is fairly rare to find. More available is "History of Hancock County, Ohio, by D.B. Beardsley, Republic Printing Co, 1881. I would suggest that you go to GenWeb and search for the nearest large library near you that may have its card catalog on line. Look for either book. Both are fairly good. If you can find it in a nearby library, the research section will usually look up simple requests for you. You can uaually make the request by E-mail now. The Beardsley book has been microfilmed by the LDS. You can order film #1000318 from your local Family History Center. The history is the first item on the film. You will probably find a later history by Brown. It is a rehash of the other books with much of the family detail left out. My personal preference is either Warner or Beardsley. Each has different features. Both have lots of people stuff. Gerry ----- Original Message ----- From: SAFE,SCOTT (HP-FtCollins,ex1) <scott_safe@hp.com> To: 'Gerald S.
