I want to thank everyone who responded to my inquiry about early Hancock Co. schools. So far, no information about the relevant time frame has turned up. It just may be as I was told--the records no longer exist. How very strange and sad, that a city would not cherish something so central to it's history! Still wondering, Linda Sayre
