    3. Hi Everyone, Is there any one on the list that can do a translation for me. I have a death notice from the Cincinnati Volksblatt from 20 September 1872. It is in German and I need it in English. I have scanned it and I have an image I can send to any one that can help be out. Thank You, Lori Deible Chaffin

    3. http://translation.langenberg.com/ Here's a link to a translator program. This will probably work. 3. To translate documentes you can try a free site called Babel Fish. http://babelfish.altavista.com/ You can translate from multiple languages using the "from and to" pull down bar below the text box. Often you have to "read between the lines" depending on the quality of your original document and the transcription. Also, most libraries have a list of common terms used in foreign language obituaries. I've found that to be very helpful. 3. Send it, and I'll try, Lori. Making no promises, but if it isn't cursive (I assume if it's from a newspaper, it is not), I can probably do it. jb.dooley@verizon.net Barbara At 02:22 PM 7/31/2005, you wrote: >Hi Everyone, > >Is there any one on the list that can do a translation for me. > >I have a death notice from the Cincinnati Volksblatt from 20 September >1872.
