    3. Phyliss, as I understand this will be a new book that includes ALL of the maps mentioned in Barbara's message below. She's advised the title will be: "Hamilton County, Ohio, Index of People, Roads, Churches, Etc., on 1835, 1847, 1848, 1869, and 1884 Maps and Atlases" by William H. Graver and Eileen Mullen. Once printed you'll be able to get it from Little Miami Publishing. I'll update the Hamilton Co., OHGenWeb page this weekend that the title is "coming soon" with a link to Little Miami Publ. As to getting individual copies of these elsewhere, I imagine that isn't possible anymore. I know the Hamilton Co., Library has the 1848 & 1869 maps, I've made copies previously & the Hamilton Co. Recorders office has the entire (very large) 1848 map framed on one of their walls. That map eventually led me to locating the original deed in 1801 for my husband's ancestor Aaron Boram/Booram. Bill Graver has done a lot of research over the years at the Recorder's office. I recall several years ago (or perhaps more) being sent a copy of a notice from David Pitman of the Recorder's office that because of Bill's research they realized then that no deeds had been lost in the 1884 court house fire, which previously was thought to have occurred. I don't recall the exact reason for this discovery, would have to go dig out that paper...... now where did I put it? 3. Actually Bill was given an award by the Recorder's Office (the first) for discovering the two lost deed book that were actually never lost at all. He discovered that those books were not missing--just recorded in a different manner. I think he must be out of town as he has not replied to my e-mail yet. I'll try to call him this weekend. b. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Linda Boorom" <lboorom@fuse.net> To: <OHHAMILT-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, July 08, 2005 6:51 PM Subject: Re: [OH-HAMILT] Question for Barbara about New Map Index > Phyliss, as I understand this will be a new book that includes ALL of the > maps > mentioned in Barbara's message below.
