    2. Hello. Hope someone out there can help and/or descends from the persons I'm going to mention. Ca 1850 Henry Fess w/wife Barbara Herring married and were living in Colerain, Hamilton, OH (were on census w/last name misspelled FEST). Henry showed as being b ca 1822, B ca abt 1831 w/baby Jacob under a year old. Henry's b date really 1808, born poss in PA, poss Germany/Alsace/Switzerland. In the same 1850 census there were other Fest families, including Barbara Fess who married a Root and is listed as Root w/daughter Louisa Root and several Fesses, Frederick, Henry, etc. Possible these other Fests were actually Fesses, w/names misspelled as w/my Henry. Need to know of other FESS/FEST families living in Hamilton county ca 1850. Need to know of any known relationship between my Henry and the other FESTs/FESSes. Any help with this would be appreciated. By the way, my Henry/Barbara moved to Allen county and Henry died there 1866; Barbara remarried Andrew J. Richey, had 2 more children one of whom died young (Elzy died; Minta lived). Only known record of Henry is their marriage record 1849 Hamilton county and Henry's tombstone and my finding their 1850 census record. Any help would be appreciated. And, really want to hear from any FESS/FEST descendants, either to see if our lines connect or at least to know for sure they do not and eliminate them. Thank you. Pavla Chandler
