    3. Cheryl, There are a lot of Charles Hoffman/Hoffmann's in the Spring Grove Cemetery database. Try checking them out for a possible match. www.springgrove.org/springgrove/genealogy_query.asp Also, maybe someone on the list has access to city directories and can narrow down the death date-- you may need to provide an address if there are several possibilities. If you can get a more exact date, you may have luck finding an obituary. That may lead to church or cemetery or funeral home records. Ohio did not require death records until something like 1908. Hope this helps. -----Original Message----- From: cherylannjones@juno.com [mailto:cherylannjones@juno.com] Sent: Tuesday, May 31, 2005 6:11 PM To: OHHAMILT-L@rootsweb.com Subject: HOFFMANN help needed I am attempting to locate a death record of some kind for a Charles HOFFMAN. I think I have narrowed his death down to a 4 year period. His last child was born Nov 1896 and he is not listed on the 1900 census - dated June 1, 1900. His wife, Mary, is listed as widowed. Is there any way to find this death record? Cheryl -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Version: 7.0.322 / Virus Database: 267.4.0 - Release Date: 6/1/2005
