In 1880, he was living on Longworth St. in a boarding house of some sort. He was employed as a waiter at Hunt's Hotel. I'm trying to establish how long he had been in the Cincinnati area prior to 1880. I should mention his age in 1880 was 24. Also tracking the woman that became his wife in 1880, Ellen "Nellie" RYAN. In 1880 she was living in the Charles Taft household and listed as a servant age 20. I don't know how and even if she would be listed, but figured it's worth a shot. Again, working backwards from 1880.
