Hi Lori, According to the 1880 census, Ellen Ryan was born in Ohio and her parents are from Ireland. Also, Dennis Ryan is in the 1860 census for Cincinnati. How about posting the names you have for her parents and the witnesses on her marriage? It might help in breaking down the brickwall. The witnesses could be neighbors or family members.
