Lori, I may have the dates a little off, but I seem to recall that Cincinnati had 4 courthouse fires during the 19th. century. So it is quite possible that the records you seek were destroyed. Unless the parties concerned made an effort to have their records remade then they are gone for good. If it's any consolation, a lot of us are in the same boat.
