    2. Susan, I may have mispoke. It's not exactly a Death INDEX but rather the Death Records for Ohio from 1958 - 2000 and the Ohio Obituary Collection that are available at ancestry.com The Death Record gives the person's name, age, death date, mother's maiden name, county where they died, birthplace, death certificate # and volume. The obituary collection gives date of birth/death, age at death, other name mention and Newpaper Location (city and name of newspaper and date). The obituary can also be viewed by clicking on the link but so far I've only been been able to view them for 2005. I don't think it's complete.
