Hi Barbara, On ancestry's main page, Line 1, type in either the first & last name of a specific person or you can also just type in a surname without any first names; on line 2 click United States in the "All Countries" drop down menu, then click the state you want or you can leave it at "All States", then click "Search". When the next page opens, look under the heading Birth, Marriage & Death Records. Marilyn ------------------original message------------------- In a message dated 8/16/2005 8:59:19 P.M. I brought up the list of all databases, went to Ohio, where I found that there were 506 (I think it was) databases; went to the D for Death and to the O for obituary. Found neither. I'm thinking there must be a better way to find something than to scroll through page after page looking for 1 database out of 506! Will appreciate any suggestions. Barbara Dooley
