Even posting the index online would have copyright issues & as such would require the permission of the author, unless the book wasn't indexed in the first place which in this case I can't imagine that it's not. We do have unlimited webspace for Hamilton Co OHGenWeb via our rootsweb account, so space would not be an issue. But, to be honest, I have no idea how the Gen. Soc. might even react to such a suggestion. The Gen. Society's recent newsletter mentioned something about the possibility of putting transcriptions on their website which would only be available to members of the Society. Kenny Burke, the president, was seeking volunteers. I considered contacting him to volunteer, but in all honesty have hesitated because of time. I still have a whole lot more I'd like to get on the Hamilton Co OHGenWeb site & have several things here that people have sent which I'm trying to get to. Seems some days just don't have enough hours :-) But, perhaps I should contact Kenny anyway & see what he has in mind & go from there?
