    3. Donna, There were two facilities operated by the Sisters of the Good Shepherd in Cincinnati. That order of nuns was dedicated to working with girls who were either orphaned or underprivileged or delinquent. Mt. St. Mary Training School was at Grand & Warsaw in Price Hill, the hill west of the city. The Sisters of the Good Shepherd also ran the Convent of the Good Shepherd home and training school for girls on North Bend Road on the hill above Hartwell, approximately 10 miles north of downtown Cincinnati. This might help to determine in which facility your great-grandmother lived. Both facilities have been closed for many years. The Sisters of the Good Shepherd continue in the US. You might want to "google" for them or either one of the institutions.
