Hello Teri! Thank you for the idea of contacting the Witt, Good & Kelsch funeral home. I noticed there appears to be two locations, one at 7312 Beechmont Ave. and the other at 3026 Madison Road. If I had to make an educated guess, I figure Stella Donnelly's wake was at 3026 Madison Rd. considering this location is only about two blocks away from where Stella lived. This is of course considering if the Madison Rd. location existed in 1953. This might be a silly question, but what sort of records do you think the funeral home may have that I could inquire about? There is something else that I just remembered about which would be helpful. I know that some cemeteries offer a "registration of heirs" document for specific burial plots. I am wondering if anyone here from previous experience knows if the St. Joseph Cemetery in Cincinnati offers such "registration of heirs" documents? Thanks again!
