I can't really say if the marriage certificate would have the parent's names. The certificates I have don't give parent's names, but other researchers I've talked to, said the parent's names were given on "their" certificates. I think it all depends on who was filling out the certificate and what questions they were or were not asking and what year the couple were getting married.
