    1. Re: [OHHAMILT] "Ohio Wills and Estates to 1850"
    2. I am not in the immediate area of Ohio and not able to utilize the resources mentioned. I am hoping someone could tell me what resources are available to possibly solve the mystery of my ancestress, Delila Wooden. She was born July 27, 1823 and was indentured at a young age along with a brother, probably named John Wooden. She married Simon Peter Hageman of Hamilton Co on Nov 20, 1838. The location is unknown but since Simon lived in Hamilton County it's a possibility. I have been unable to find a marriage record in any other county that has early marriages online. Family legend states her brother and Simon Hageman were friends and her brother begged Simon to pay off her indenture and so he did and they fell in love and married when she was 15. The two couples, Simon and Delila Hageman and John Wooden and his wife lived near each other in the 1840 Milford Co, OH census. I have been unable to find a set of Wooden parents for the two kids in Hamilton Co. There are Wooden's in other counties of Ohio but I have been unable to find a "niche" for my orphans in those Wooden families. I would appreciate any help in Hamilton possible and would also like recommendations for researchers for hire in the area. Thank you for any reply!
