    1. Re: [OHHAMILT] Hillside Chapel...a cemetery?
    2. Hi Deborah, When I said I had family members interred there -- I should have explained a little further. What I meant by interred was, their cremated remains are interred in urns in little niches behind glass with a brass plate on the front of the niche giving name and dates. There are little bud vases that can be clipped onto the front of the niche that will hold one or two individual flowers. Hillside Chapel isn't a cemetery -- so there are no burials. It's a series of small to moderate size rooms with lovely stained glass or frosted windows, little water fountains in the center of some of the rooms have the quiet sound of trickling water and there are benches in each room. The last time I was there they also had large bird cages in the center of some rooms (from floor to ceiling and probably 3 to 4 feet in diameter with lovely song birds, A very peaceful and beautiful place. The also have a lovely chapel there for services. It's been many years since I visited there so I don't know if it's still the same. (also location of the Cincinnati Cremation Co.). Is Hillside Chapel a cemetery? That sounds sooooo dumb. I mean, if you have relatives buried there it must be a cemetery; but I can't find any references to it on all the cemetery lists. Also, does anyone have a photo of Hillside Chapel that you could scan to me? Thanks, Deborah **************Biggest Grammy Award surprises of all time on AOL Music.
