Another thought for your research trip. I came in a couple of years ago from Florida and stayed at Ashley Quarters, which is actually in Florence KY (convenient to the airport, rental cars, etc.). After many years away from Cincinnati, I was not about to attempt to drive across the bridge and downtown by myself. When I went to the Kenton Co. Library, and had a wonderful research day, I learned about the public transporation system. Next day, parked the car at a free lot in Florence (on Turfway, I believe) and took the bus to Sixth Street in Cincinnati. Checked the schedule and came back just before rush hour, picked up my rental car at the parking lot and felt I had really accomplished something with a minimum of stress and expense! Hello, I am trying to locate the marriage for Maria Clara Becker, who was born abt 1885 in Cincinnati. Her father was Frank W. Becker and her mother was Julia Kuehnie Becker. She was married between 1900 and 1910, I'm hoping in Hamilton Co. I don't really want to purchase her marriage cretificate. Any help that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
