    3. My great grandmother, Artie Phillips, was born in 1862 (according to tombstone). In the 1870 census she is living with what looks to be an unrelated family (Walden). There is also a census listing for a boy who might be her twin, and who is living with a different and probably unrelated family (Pendrey). The post office for both is Sedamsville. There is a record of both children being baptised in the Presbyterian Church, although I'm embarassed to say I can't find the record at the moment, but I believe it was in 1867. Since this was shortly after the end of the civil war, I am wondering if they were casualties of that event, and if so, what type of records might have been kept for placing children in foster homes. Since they were both baptised in the same church at the same time, and since that was after the end of the war, I really think they were twins. I have been unable to find either of them in 1880, and I don't know whatever happened to Henry. Thanks for any input. Martha Federle
