Benard C. Farfsing division passenger agent for the Norfolk&Western R.R. died yesterday at Good Sam. Hospital. He was 62. Mr. Farfsing lived at 6636 Elywynne Dr. Silverton. He had been with the R.R. since 1918, starting as an Stenographer Clerk. He was a memeber of St. John Church, Deer Park; Cint. Passenger Traffic Club and the Traveling Passenger Association. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Josephine Whemhoff Farfsing, 2 sons, Charles-Silverton, and Paul, Norwood; a daughter Miss Margie Farfsing, a brother, Edward Mt.Washington, 5 sisters, Mrs. Lillian Werning, Pleasant Ridge, Mrs. Hilda Landman-Hyde Park, Mrs. Jen Murphy-Bradenton FL. Sister Mary Lydia, St. Mathew School-Norwood, and Sister Amede de'l Immaculee Little Sisters of the Poor, New York. and 5 grandkids. Requiem High Mass will be sung at 10am Friday at St. John Church. Josie was a good friend of my mother's. They traveled to Europe together in 1965. She was a wonderful lady. We also lived on Elwynne.
