Carol and all; I did some extensive research a few years ago for a friend, connected to the GENTILE family, which came from Termini Imerese, Sicily; to the US. The dates are very similar to those you mention with regard to the Palmisano family and I would imagine they very likely worked together, etc. once they reached Cincinnati. Termini Imerese has a very good mailing list available - I think through Rootsweb like all the others. I would strongly advise you make a connection with that group. They were very helpful to me at that time. And I have found many of the names from Termini did come to Cincinnati. At times, they are closely related - mostly cousins and in-laws.
