I'm looking for any information on WITHORN. They are German, from Prussia, Oldenburg, Hannover, or Rheinland. I can find a families in the 1880 Census, and some singles in prior Census, but I am unable to connect them. I really haven't been able to get much information from the Census, death notices, or marriage notices. If anyone has any additional information, I would greatly appreciate it. Paula Calhoun

Which one of the families are you connected to? Why do you think they are connected? I did go and look in 1880 and there are several families with variations of the name. I seems by 1900 most of them are spelling it "WIETHORN". In 1880 there are the names: WEITHORN, WITHORN, WIEDHORN, WHIETHORN, WITTHORN. Oh and somewhere I also found a VITHOM. Margaret
