Hello everyone! I am hoping to connect with someone that might help me locate the parents of the Charles Cook that married Anna Wuestenfeld on April 2, 1891 - Married by Emil K. L. Schmidt - officiant at St. Matthew United Evangelical German Church. He has been MY BRICK WALL! I have spent the day searching Cincinnati Directories and see that he was living with his wife until 1904. In 1900 he was the proprietor of Queen City Flushing Co. located at 410 Laurel. His home was 822 Findlay. He may have ended up selling the company and starting a company named Cincinnati Flushing Company. In 1903 his home was at 822 Findlay. In 1904 Mrs. Anna is living at 822 Findlay – occupation – a cook. It doesn’t say she was a widow. The 1910 census shows she was married – but I can’t find Charles. By 1920 the census shows she was widowed. I have checked Newsdex at the Cincinnati Public Library and have ordered all the Charles Cook or Koch obits I can find. Only possibility is that he was the Charles Koch that died in 1905 in Tennesee. His death certificate does not show his parents names. He was 37 years old. The obit says he was the son of the late Philip Koch that lived at Eighth and McPherson, Price Hill, (Hamilton Co.) OH. The Funeral was from the chapel of J.J. Radel Company, 652 State av., and burial was private. I AM HOPING SOMEONE CAN HELP ME!!
