To the list, I wanted to let you all know that I am planning to have 6 local authors at the 3rd annual Little Miami Holiday Bookfest on Saturday, November 28, at 19 Water Street, Milford, Ohio. This is the weekend of the Milford Hometown Holidays celebration. Refreshments will be served. A few of the following authors could be of interest to the group: 10:30 to 12:00 noon -- Don Heinrich Tolzmann (German Americana: Selected Essays, Wooden Shoe Hollow, John A Roebling and His Suspension Bridge on the Ohio River, German Heritage Guide to the Greater Cincinnati Area, among others). 10:30 to 12:00 noon -- Kenny Burck (president of the Hamilton County Genealogy Society, along with his marriage indexes and others, the society just published the 6th edition of A Guide to Genealogical Resources in Cincinnati and Hamilton County, Ohio, and can talk about the society and resources in the area). 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. -- Linda Swink (just published In Their Honor: The Men Behind the Names of Our Military Installations). 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. -- Gary Knepp (Clermont County attorney who just published Beyond the Names: A Tribute to Clermont County Ohio's Vietnam War Dead as well as his Freedom's Struggle--about the underground railroad). 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. -- Randy McNutt and Cheryl Bauer (Ohio Civil War Tales. Also Randy's Ghosts and Cheryl's Shakers of Indiana). I hope to see and meet some of you at the event.
