    1. [OHHAMILT] Speaking of books
    2. All; Can anyone tell me where I can buy the two-volume set: "The Bicentennial Guide to Greater Cincinnati, A Portrait of Two Hundred Years"? It was published in 1988 by the Cincinnati Historical Society. I was able to borrow it from a friend but would love to have my own copy. It's an extremely interesting book with many facts about the Cincinnati area, neighborhood by neighborhood. I'm thinking a used copy in reasonable condition. I checked Amazon.com and the prices vary widely. Seems to me there should be some available in the Cincinnati area yet. Thanks, Ann Bergelt Florida In a message dated 11/11/2009 12:37:41 P.M. Don Heinrich Tolzmann who, with permission of Charlotte Pieper's siblings, had the book reprinted with information about the history of the area, people who lived there, and the 5th generation descendants who still have nurseries in the area. He will be one of the first signers at the Little Miami Bookfest on November 28, at 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon that day. If you need more info, please let me know. 3. Ann, Good luck with that. I just tried the Cincinnati Museum gift shop and they have none. So you will have to try a second market area. I also just tried the Ohio Book Store in Cincinnati (good place to find old books--and some new ones on Cincinnati) and they have none either. They said they are hard to find now. Barbara G.
