The index I'm referring to is a book titled "Index of Death and Marriage Notices Appearing in the Cincinnati Daily Gazette 1827-1881" Actually is two volumes - Part One is Death Notices and Part Two is Marriage Notices, alphabetically by surname. Jeffrey G. Herbert compiled it, and it was published by Heritage Books, Inc. in 1993 for the Hamilton County Chapter of OGS. I'm not sure if the information has been placed on any of the online sites. But I'm sure large libraries have copies, including the Cincinnati Main Library's genealogy dept. However -- in the "Hamilton County Ohio Selected Baptism Records, early to 859" there is: Lawson, Caroline Augusta Bapt. 25 May 1845, parents Fenton and Eliza A - Code K awson, George Park Bapt. 1822 (no other dates), parents Fenton and Eliza same code awson, J.H. bapt. 5 Oct 1834, parents Fenton and Eliza A - same code K is the code for the Church of the New Jerusalem, 1811-1859 LDS film # 630318 There are several other baptisms in this time frame for Lawsons, with the ame church code. They do not have parents indicated, but if you want hose names, let me know.
