Joseph NUSBERGER immigrated to Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH in early 1852. He was born abt. 1830 in Bavaria. Joseph marr. 13 Apr. 1852 to Carharina SCHMES at Parish of St. Joseph's RC Church in Cincinnati. Catharina gave birth to a daughter Louisa NUSBERGER on 31 Dec. 1852 in Cincinnati. Joseph died Mar. 1854 in Cincinnati. Looking for the cemetery where Joseph Nusberger was buried. Are there any christening records for Louisa, possibly in St. Joseph's RC Church? Any help will be very much appreciated. _Sue12632@aol.com_ (mailto:Sue12632@aol.com)
The Archives in Cincinnati Archdiocesis have the old Catholic baptismal records. You would have to contact them. Esp. since you have the church and year of birth. That would help. The only Catholic cemeteries with online indexes in Cincinnati are Gate of Heaven (which opened too late) and New St Joseph. No Nusberger listed at New St Joseph. The main cemeteries old enough for Joseph to be buried in are Old St Joseph & St John's in St Bernard. St John's records are at ST Mary Cemetery, St Mary & St John Cemetery 701 East Ross Ave. Cincinnati Hamilton County Ohio USA Postal Code: 45217 Phone: (513) 242-4191 St Joseph (Old) Cemetery 3819 West Eighth Street Cincinnati Hamilton County Ohio USA Postal Code: 45205 Phone: (513) 921-3050 These two would be the most likely burial places.
