I hope everyone knows that there are many records online from the 1790s to 1900s at the Hamilton County Probate Court website.   This is a current court directory but if you will look at the red print in the middle of the page, it says the archived records are available online.  So click and see what is there.  It is a goldmine.  There are images of the original marriage licenses from the 1850s.  The probate staff probably filmed them in self-defense.
