I have had no luck tracking down this part of my Ziegler family. Here is what I have on the Steffan/Stevens line. I'm wonderig if anyone knows anything about this family? Comments are from a 1960 family history. Thanks! She had a candy store and he was a guard in the workhouse in Cincinnati." 5.1 Chris Stevens or Steffan b. -married and had a family. 5.2 Henry Stevens or Steffan b. -not married. Nickname "Hops." .3 Margaret Stevens or Steffan b. -married and had a big family. .4 Sophie Stevens or Steffan b. -"married a tramp. With horse and wagon, they "gypsied" all over the United States of America." 5.5 Louise Stevens or Steffan b. -"died early. 5.6 Albert Stevens or Steffan b. -"Very genteel. This is the only member of this family I (Alma Huber) ever knew. I don’t think he was married; lived on Fulton Street-East End, Cincinnati, O." I was thinking of joining OGS because you have access to NewspaperArchive.com. When I look at the holdings at NewspaperArchive.com it seems they have more there than they released to Ancestry.com. If anyone is an OGS member, can you go there and see if they have the Lima News up to 2003 or just to 1977. Ancestry only has to 1977. If you can see to 2003 then I assume you have total access.
