Thank you for any help, Carol. Let me clarify a couple of things from past messages. Your original message did cite the names you found at St. Aloysius as being spelled RAIRDON (Michael, Patrick and Sarah H.) The phone conversation today indicated that the cemetery books actually have the surname spelled REARDON (so you can see right there one example of how difficult this family has been to pin down over the years). Your information about Section 1, lot 63 in the cemetery indicated Michael died 3 Jan 1892 age 25 years and was born in Ireland, Patrick lived from 27 jan 1861 to 5 Sept 1893 and had the word (father) included. Sarah H. was born in Ireland, with no dates given and (mother) written. "Sarah H." and "Hannorah" Reardon may be one and the same person -- I have no idea for sure. The phone conversation today indicated that the cemetery record for Hanorah/Honora Reardon simply gave her age and death date, no location for her gravesite in the cemetery, just a number (213) that apparently means nothing as far as location is concerned. Although the words "mother" and "Father" are used, I have no idea if Patrick, who was born 1861 was actually the husband of the woman buried at St. Aloysius, or perhaps her son. So far, I have found nothing that matches other than the Patrick/Honora 1853 marriage and I think one census in which I found Patrick and Honora Reardon in Green Twp. but with no children remaining in the household! I just can't match 'em up. Thanks for anything you can do. I live about 10 minutes from St Aloysius Gonzaga Cemetery. I can check ext time I go there. From the index I have, the only Rairdons are buried in ection 1; lot 63. Looks like there's only one monument-with Michael, Patrick & arah H on. With a death year of 1907, there may not be much on the monument. 'll let you know. Recently, some of you were able to help me learn more about Honora/Hannorah eardon, whose death index entry I found on the FamilySearch record site. his lady was 93 when she died in March of 1907. She is buried at St. loysius' cemetery in the Cheviot/Bridgetown area. Also buried there are ichael, Patrick and Sarah H. Reardon. I spoke with the church office person ho was kind enough to check the records for me. Unfortunately, not a lot is ritten about these folks, so I still don't really know the family connections to each other or to my family). Is anyone near that area and can visit the cemetery in person? I'm wondering f there are markers for the above and if there might be any more information on hose stones, as I have found in other past experiences. It would be necessary or you to check in the rectory to get the location of the Reardon graves, and pparently the record doesn't show for sure where Honora is buried. Hoping he'll be near the others. To clarify what I do know -- my grandmother was born Sarah Honora Reardon, bout 1884/86. Her father was Cornelius Reardon (wife Mary Keyes), born in incinnati. His father, also Cornelius, was born in Ireland (wife Bridget ing). I have found just about everyone else in this family buried at St. oseph's New Cemetery. It seems to have been a large family. Several children n each of those generations and they were often spread out all over the city in he censuses. According to her 1907 obituary, Honora (Hannorah) was the widow of a Patrick, hom I have also been unable to identify. Question is, how are Honora and atrick related to Cornelius??? There is a marriage index entry for Patrick Reardon to Honora McCarthy 19 June 853 at St. Xavier. That is most likely the same couple I'm searching for. Any local help appreciated.
