Hi All - If any expert on the Hamilton Probate Records wants a challenge -- I am woefully inept at searching them for the marriage approx. 1865 of Wilhelm Kling & Rosina Jacob (could be William, Rose or Jacobs also). I did find a William Kling listed, B 23 R 320, but was unable to go further. Wilhelm (1837-1914) emig. abt 1849 from Bavaria; Rose was born in Cincy 18 Aug 1845 to German immigrants Simon JaKob and Christina Eisermann (have seen var. other spellings also - married Cincy betw. 1840-1849 per marriage index below), thanks for any help, Maryl, Atlanta P.S.S. - then I also found this info online for them but I am unsure what to do next with the info: Names from Marriage Records Hamilton County Genealogical Society Wednesday, October 21, 2009 7:30:33 PM Groom, Bride, source code, date range Kling, Wilhelm to Jacob, Rosina 6-C-EEE (1860-69) St. Francis Seraph 6 -C-EEE 1860 - 1869 so the code means that Wilhelm Kling married Rosina Jacob at St. Francis Seraph Catholic Church between 1860-1869 Hamilton Co, Ohio Historical Society Index - Death Notices (Would these notices contain helpful info?) In my (albeit pretty limited) VB/FP death notice, they didn't often say when the couple was married. However that isn't to say that they might not. It just depends on how much the family posted in the newspaper. The obituaries/death notices that I have seen with my own eyes from those newspapers have generally said "so and so, beloved parent/spouse etc, died at time, on day of month. Survived by children, (maybe listing spouses of children), date of funeral mass/service/burial, and maybe a poem. One or two also listed where that person was born in Germany.
