Apparently these records have not been transcribed. At Ancestry.com and other online databases, someone (many hundreds of people) have been employed to read the records and type the names into a database that links to images. In the Hamilton Co. records only images are available, not words that we can search. It means we have to look at the images just as we would do in a book. It's more difficult on the computer, though, because we can't flip through the whole thing to get an idea of what we are looking at. That's how I figure it, anyway.
