I know most of you are annoyed with the online Probate Court Records but I am grateful for the information that they made available. I am pretty sure I have found a Daniel Gallagher being appointed guardian to my grandmother. Alice Gallagher, 5 years old. I believe the Michael and Margaret Gallagher buried in 1873 at St. Joes are her parents. I knew that if this was true Alice should show up somewhere as an orphan and there she was. This is a great piece of the puzzle. The other surprise was that she had a 3 year old sister. I may even have relatives in Cinci. Thanks to this website for telling us about the records going online.
