Looking on Ancestry.com I found (1) reference to a Benoni Gardner in the 1830 census in Delhi Township. It looks like he was between 70-80 with a woman living with him 40-50, 1 boy 5-10, 1girl under 5 and 1girl 5-10. Don't know if your familiar with Hamilton Co., but Mill Creek Township and Delhi Township border each other. If he is the father he may have moved in with one of the sons ,if he was ill, then died there. This is the site to an old township map of Hamilton Co.1881 from The History of Cincinnati and Hamilton Co., Ohio: twpmap I also checked in the Spring Grove Cemetery where many early residents where buried, but none of the Gardners you mention are there. Parents are listed, if known, on the records. No record showed up in Family Search (LDS records). Good luck in your search, Joan Williams On Jan 26, 2010, at 1:33 PM, Sue12632@aol.com wrote: > Looking for any info on the GARDNER Families that appear in the 1840 US > Census for MILL CREEK, HAMILTON CO., OH.
