Hello List, I'm finding a lot of my Catholic relatives in the marriage banns. There are 20 books in chronological order with the exception of book 20. >From page 174 to 313 they are NOT in chronological order. To make it easier for me, I went through all 20 books and noted the dates on the first page and the last page. This gives me some idea of where to look for a particular date. Here's a listing of the dates - hope this is a help to all of you. Does anyone know if they announced the banns of marriage in a mixed marriage back then? My parents were not allowed to get married in the church itself. They were married in the priest's parlor. I still can't find my parents but sure appreciate Janet's work for the list. I may find somebody else there.
