    3. Dear Listers, I sincerely apologize for the request yesterday regarding a John G. Dill's divorce. I do not know why I typed in his name, instead of his son's name of Matthew J. DILL. I've been researching Matthew James DILL for years. H e was my great-grandfather . After his wife, Mary, died in 1899 in Crosby Township , he remarried a woman from Kentucky in 1900. I could never find a marriage record for him and this un-named woman. Then I found a Cincinnati newspaper article dated January 1901 regarding  a "James Dill from Crosby Township filing for a divorce from wife, Elizabeth. " There were no other Dill's left in Crosby Township by 1901 except my Matthew James DILL. His son, George DILL, my grandfather, was living in Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio, by then. So, I figured this newspaper article had to have been MY great-grandfather. My Matthew James DILL sort of 'disappeared' after that. Would anyone on this list have any suggestions? I live in Indianapolis and have no car to get to Cincinnati to do more research, so I have to depend on the nice people on this list to help me. Would it be possible for me to get a copy of the divorce records? I have no idea who to write to for this. Thank you for all your help over the years. Sincerely, Barbara (Dill) Noble Barbie ----- ohhamilt-request@rootsweb.com wrote: | Today's Topics: |    1.
