I spent quite awhile combing through the online probate and will/estate ecords this afternoon. Even though I felt like a kid with a new toy, I till couldn't come up with much to further my Menke/Koetting family line. did find a little bit on a John G. Koetting who appears to have died quite oung. --------------------- 850 United States Federal Census > Ohio > Hamilton > Cincinnati Ward 11 02 Kotting John G 23 abt 1827 Male Germany 02 Kotting Mary 25 abt 1825 Female Germany 02 Kotting Caroline 2 abt 1848 Female Ohio --------------------------------- ttp://www.hcgsdata.org/brides/Kni-Kram.shtml 850-59 5-C-CC Kloppenburg, Heinric Koetting, Catharine I'm still looking for the definition of the source code on that one) --------------------------------------------------- ttp://www.probatect.org/pdftemp/radC67F2.pdf 23 Koetting, John G Mar 4, 1852 1 8 Mar 4, 1852 dminstration granted unto Catharine Koetting, illiam Deho and Joseph Wrocklage, sureties, Bond $350 ohn Henry Urlage, Henry Moorhern, and Arnold Urlage apprs. ond taken and letters issued. In that time frame, the only Koetting brides were the above and the Menke bride. But -- there is also a KETTING, A.M.Gesina who married Herman Hein. SOMMER 19 Nov 1848 at Holy Trinity.
