Just found a great-uncle's death certificate. He was buried in Green Mound New Richmond OH. Does anyone know where it is or what it might be called today? The great uncle was Robert St. Clair ROE Thank you
Hi, Adina, There's a New Richmond in Clermont County, Ohio. There's also a Richmond Dale in Ross County, Ohio The one in Clermont County, which abuts Hamilton County, is right smack on the Ohio/Kentucky border. Richmond Dale is nearer to Chillocothe, Ohio. So I'd stick with the one in Clermont if you're looking for Cincinnati relatives! It is Green Mound Cemetery, in New Richmond, Clermont County, Ohio. Large beautiful cemetery. New Richmond is not that big, it is a river town on the Ohio River. Lots of history including history in underground railroad. --- On Sun, 7/11/10, Adina Roberts <adinad@earthlink.net> wrote: From: Adina Roberts <adinad@earthlink.net> Subject: [OHHAMILT] New Richmond OH To: ohhamilt@rootsweb.com Date: Sunday, July 11, 2010, 12:33 AM Just found a great-uncle's death certificate. I have a couple of relatives buried in Green Mound Cemetery. I no longer live in the Cincinnati area. So I'm trying to remember from memory. I believe that the cemetery is on Green Mound Rd. It runs off of hwy 132. Hwy 132 runs off of hwy 52. coming from Cinncinnati on 52 take a left at 132 and Green Mound Rd is the first or 2nd street to the right. The cemetery is on the left about a mile or less down the road.. I do not know if they have a staff there. Or if there are any records kept there. You might try the courthouse in Batavia, Ohio. I hope that this helps you. Mary At 12:33 AM 7/11/2010, you wrote: >Just found a great-uncle's death certificate. He was buried in Green Mound >New Richmond OH.
