Marian; In the 1870-84 Restored Marriages index, there are actually two marriages for Ferdinand TAPKE: to (Mrs) Elisabeth Lueck on 15 Nov 1876 and to Caorlina [sic] VonBeuman [sic] 23 Jan 1878 Both are coded CC, which in that index does indicate St. Joseph Cath. Ch. In the other index for that same time period (1870-84) for Marriages Recorded at Hamilton Co. OH Probate Court: Ferdinand Tapke again is listed twice: to Elisabetha Lük 11/15/1876 and to Elisabetha Kessen same date, same officiant (apparently one was her maiden name and the other her previously married name)? This comes in very handy when you are looking for the actual record on Hamilton County Probate Court search now available.
