Good Folks - The A & H Straus Furniture Co. was started by my great grandfather Alexander/Alex Straus (and Henry Straus, Jr.) in around 1867 in Cincinnati. He continued in business until around 1887. I know that he had a building at 153 Fourth St, Cincinnati; a drawing and brief write-up appeared on pages 163-164 of the 1875 publication "Illustrated Cincinnati, a Pictorial Hand-Book of the Queen City". I know very little more than that. I would very much like a picture or two of some of his furniture, and any other additional information about his furniture and/or family.
