Hi Ursula - This list has already been contacted about finding Wolfgang's sister. I know I searched on the available online sites that might find her, and I know a few other people did as well. I wish you luck in your searches; however I am not sure that there is much to be found in the Cincinnati area for this Alison Scott. I asked someone I know who is familiar with a lot of the older families of St Bernard, and he was not familiar with the name. Doesn't mean much other than the family probably doesn't still live in the village. I think it is so great that you have made this much effort already!! What a great find. There is a William Heidebrodt on a tree in Ancestry.com The descendents seem to be in CA. If you don't have Ancestry I'd be happy to contact the tree owner through Ancestry and ask them to contact you. Hello, I urgently need help to search my husbands half sister. That's my story: We are a German family with two grown up children. My husband, Wolfgang Liphardt is born 1946 in Germany as a son of an American soldier in World War II. His father is Vincent B. SCOTT from Lafayette, Indiana. His mother was not married with his father. Vincent SCOTT leaves Germany before my husband got born. He gave my mother-in-law his address in Lafayette, IN, and his original dog tag with army serial number. The address was correct, but letters got not answered. My husband raised up as an only child in a very small family (grandmother, mother, son) without other family members! There was no contact between his German and his American family until December 2009. At that time I found on the web side "Find a grave" a photo of Vincent Scott's grave. He died 1969. That was the begin of a new part in our life. We got contact to our wonderful new American family. Vincent SCOTT had a lot of siblings and there are much family members still alive. So are three sisters of Vincent alive! The problem is, Vincent's mother died in 1927 and the 6 children where separated in 3 families for raise up. Each one does not really know much from the other siblings. Now to the problem I contact you: Vincent SCOTT had a daughter, my husbands half sister. We have no idea how we can find her. Vincent was married and came in divorce. In this marriage he got a daughter and all we know is her name Allison (Alison, Alycen???). We don't know the name of his wife or the date of their marriage. They came in divorce and he got married a second time, but this wife (her name was Thelma, Zelma?) died even before him. We searched in online available records without result. Do you know a possibility for genealogical research? We are thankful for every tip what help to find Allison. Here the data: Vincent Boyd SCOTT Born September 10, 1924, Lafayette, Indiana Death October 13, 1969, Peru, Peoples Hospital Residences: Lafayette, IN Ft. Hayes, Columbus, OH Hawaiian Department Cincinnati, OH (Lived with his first wife in Ohio, probably in Cincinnati.) Since 1956 he lived in Peru County, Illinois Last residence: Standard, Putnam, Illinois Buried in Lafayette, Indiana, Spring Vale Cemetery Army serial number: 15332135 (at the date of enlistment, Nov. 29, 1946 he was married) Member of: Eagles Lodge VFW Schuyler Avenue Wesleyan Church, Lafayette Co-owner of Cabin-Scotty's Tavern in Standard, IL At the moment we are on an endpoint of researches.
